contract not being renewed - redundant during mat leave

Hi, can anyone offer any advice.....my contract is not going to be renewed (was fixed term because department was a trial and is now being reorganised and there is no role for me anymore) when it ends in April - 5 months into OML. Is it right that my SMP will also end then?

No you should still be entitled to the rest of your smp.
