  • You gets what you pays for I'm afraid...However, that is not to say that an £89 one won't be fit for purpose! If you just want to browse t'internet and watch you tube - and maybe fiddle with a few apps - then why not £89??? If you want the corporate all singing all dancing experience - buy the £500 ipad. Horses for courses - as long as you aren't expecting IPAD quality and reliability and customer support.

Oh - android is upgradeable from 1.6 -2.2, so long as the manufacturer supports it and releases an software update - something the cheaper tablets probably wont do 'cause inevitably some will go bust and sink without trace. Looking at ARCHOS type for £150 ish maybe give you one that lasts a bit longer.

Remember - it's technology and something different and better will be out in 6 months anyway - especially with IPAD2 :D

.....Hey I wonder if I order 3 if i'll only get charged one p&p, surely £99 would cover the weight of 3?? ha! :rotfl:I wish

Something like this might suit your needs

Now, as others say, it won't be perfect. But...it's within your budget and from a site where they get a few of these tablets in, at different price points.

You can check user reviews of this sort of tablet on Amazon etc.
