Is it ok to send to unconfirmed Paypal address

Hi
Have been selling on ebay for ages now but this is the first time I have come across someone using an unconfirmed paypal address. The address on ebay/paypal match, the user only has feedback score 1 for a collected item, she has paid just under £90 for my item, is it ok to send to unconfirmed address or should I ask her to get it confirmed first?
thanks

  • Hi,

I've sold and bought tons on ebay andhave just checked my details and I'm 'unconfirmed' too..

It's not a problem at all - If I come across this I normally shoot off an ebay message or email to the buyer and confirm addey before sending - that way everything is clear - personally I wouldn't worry, as long as it's been paid for.

    Cheers

    Jules

Unconfirmed is a relic of the days when Paypal operated in only a few regions (principally in North America and GB) and as such most addresses outside these regions are unconfirmed. Buyer/seller protection extends a bit further than it used to.

All that matters is whether the transaction when viewed in paypal shows as 'OK to send'. The just remember to keep yoru special delivery receipt for a minimum of 180 days.
