Forgot to pay BG..

I received my final bills from British Gas this month. I assumed they were both to be paid by the same date which was the 6th December, but I received a letter just now saying unless I pay the money immediately I'm going to be taken to court (for £17 would hardly be worth it), I checked on-line and it looks like the gas bill had a different date payment due (6 days ago). Ive paid them now online, it was an slightly stupid but honest mistake on my part. I assume everything will be ok now?
