:beer: last week i was booking a flight for 6 to malta, i discovered that the cost for 4 was £108 pp but when i tried to book for 6 the price was £119 pp, so i booked 4 seats at £108 and the other 2 were £119, on the same flight, saving around £40. this was on airmalta.

That is quite common. If they run out of seats at the cheap price they charge you the higher price for all seats. That is why if you ever book for more than one person you should always check the per person price first before booking seats for several people.
