Hi All
Wondering if anyone can maybe help.
Top bathroom saw there was a tiny bit ofwater damage on ceiling.
DH investigated the loft and could not find anything.
Eventually after lifting the insulation(fluffy stuff) he found a small swollen part on the silver foil that goes on the loft floor( assuming this is part ofthe bathroom ceiling.
This foil is under the floor beams in the loft and has been there obviously since making the houses, and cant be removed just by lifting.
From what we can see it is just one corner of this that has water swelling to it and cant see anywhere where the water could come from.
Beams are dry everything else seems dry
At a total loss to what has happened, any ideas
Thanks

Most likely cause assuming there are no pipes nearby, is condensation. It will have formed on the rafters and dripped onto this area. Eventually it will have seeped through to the ceiling underneath.Herman - MP for all!
