    I've been Money Tipped!
I have a hot water tank which is split, like a 40 gallons of cold/15 gallons hot, something like that. Anyway it has a hard foam covering and I wondered whether it would be worth get an insulating jacket for it and if I could lag the pipes with something to keep the water hotter. I have it set at 60 degs in summer but in winter it doesn't do to have it set low as I have to run a lot of water before it gets hot, setting it high is ok but just wondered whether insulating it and doing the pipes would be worthwhile. If so, would anyone be able to recommend a cheap place to get a jacket and insulation for the pipes. Many thanks for any info.
