guarateed over 50 plan with Santander

My brother-in-law has been offered a guaranteed over 50 plan(he will be 80 next birthday).. His bank manager seems very keen on this!
Personally, I think its not suitable for him as he is single with no family

You are right, why on earth would a single 80 old need life insurance, and at no doubt high premiums given the age

He'll probably need to live another 2 yrs for it to pay out on death. All a bit dodgy and pointless.
