how to factory reset toshiba lcd tv?

hi

does anyone know how to factory reset a toshiba lcd tv pleaseee?!?

mines a bv500 and the manual is here www. toshiba-om.net/LCD/PDF/English/Country_Specific/BV500-32-English-Specific.pdf but it doesnt tell you how to reset?

anyone got a toshiba lcd , maybe the same code needs to be entered at the menu screen?

Why do you feel you need to?

If you need to reset the channels to zero switch off at mains , remove aerial then switch on and scan for channels, it will find none select ok or save whatever. Switch off again plug in aerial then re-tune. If not just for the channels then, as Rik asks why ??

thanks for the responses but no joy.

i need it because when i first started up the tv it started scanning for all the freeview channels but i accidently hit backup on the remote and it cancelled the scan. Now I can only add one channel at a time, its painstaking!

switched it off from mains overnight but no joy this morning.

any ideas?

So when you select 'automatic channel scan' it doesnt work?
