HSBC security forms

Hi.

I'm just wondering whether HSBC actually send out customer security forms, because I got one a couple months ago, it came 2 months after I got the letter that tells me that my account is ready to go. I've completed it and sent it back (I can't really remember if it asks me for personal details) and they sent me a letter back saying thank you for completing and returning your customer security form. Recently I finally got around to opening a online bank account and I cannot find the letter that tells me my security number that I've set up on the security form, as I was researching about it, trying to find out what to do, I realised that I actually can't find anyone else who has got a customer security form. I'm slightly worried whether the letter is geninue, I've been using the card for couple of months now and everything's fine, I just need to make sure that everything is ok...

yes they do issue them, they ask for a word etc that you send back. I knwo the feeling of forgetting also
