Hi, all the above advice is excellent , xxdeeb...etc proves it is possible. There is only one small concern as far as I can see the mention of "Windows
" (the bars) suggest that it may be actually be running a chkdsk (disk check) at startup (because you thought it was frozen and switched off). It may be worth leaving it trying for a little over the 40-60 mins you already have . You haven't said which PC you have nor how big a disk it has.

Did ' a rare customer orientation ' fix your HDD problem Pat ?

I've had a think and :
- still think the Crucial RealSSD C300 is the best boot drive
- the SF's in second place
- until intel go native with their new SATA 6G next year
Have a read yourself, here is a bit of a Phanbhoy but you can pick through the ghist of it !Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Seems this was not the only fake Rapid Data recovery Review.
I found this review much more believable :-
The services I received from VenSys was very professional in dealing with my media degradation hardrive problem, prior to this encounter I received very poor customer services with Rapid Data Recovery as they gave me multiple advisors and didn't have the tools to carry out the job specified, also they deceived me of what they recovered so i wasn't satisfied. VenSys dealt with me directly and accurately pin-pointed the problem with my hardrive and used the tools necessary to achieve 100% success recovery, I'll recommend VenSys to anyone with a hardrive fault as they are reasonable with their prices, have excellent customer services with support throughout the whole process of elimination and kept me updated via email regularly. I meant.
Someone asks for help and a variety of people post and individual opinion on what may help .. .. .. still with me ?
In your case you have posted in 5 threads 4 of which have been dead since last year, so your post was pointless, a waste of letters and commas, and unread by the O/P
If the purpose of your posts was to help, those posters are all retired, the kids have grown up, and the car has run out of tax since they posted their request for an opinion.
If however you intention was to get your post count up .. .. you have suceeded by friend, welcome to MSE :beer:Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
