Stone me, tenant is entirely entitled to claim HB/LHA and any decent Landlord would be willing to help them with their application.
There are parts of the UK where the accepted standards for Landlords do not permit discrimination against benefit claimants.
What next? Enthusiastically evicting any tenants in receipt of state retirement pension or Child Benefit??
..well sorry if your a charity and am not!! You would of thought it was common courtsey to update your landlord on your housing claim but not heard a dicky bird. He's obviously burying his head in the sand. I've heard it can take mths for housing benefit claims to go through. Times are hard for everyone ya know. I've sent him 2 letters now stating outstanding arrears. Going to arrange a meeting with him soon.Win's of 2014 so far-Maxfactor mascara, £50 Pizza Express Voucher, Dr Oetker Pizza, Nuby sippy cup :j:beer:0
