As long as you log in once every 90 days, your files will be kept permanently.0

Depends. You could use it to backup your website server but thats probably it as the contents of the Vault are only available to one person and cannot be publicly accessed."To be or not to be......that is the question"

So I suppose you couldn't link to a file in this vault from your webpage?0

Just signed up for the free BT Digital Vault service - which is great! Thanks guys - a few things I've realised after reading your comments...
1) your login and password are case-senstive so make sure you've typed it in correctly
2) your files are stored permanently - so long as you log-in at least once every 90 days. BT does have the 20GB service which is free to try for 2 months and then you don't have to worry about making sure you log-in every 90 days
My favourite thing though is that you can access the files from anywhere and share specific ones too.0 -
How long do the files take to upload and download?
Is this essentially like Rapidshare?0 -

Not really, it's not primarily solely for public sharing, it's personal storage.
You can share files by invitation on a person by person basis.0 -
XDrive from AOL is similar to this but you get 5GB and you only need to login once a year to keep it active.

Do you have to have AOL?0
