Not really sure what you mean by this replyhow is that better?
Thanks for the replies everyone else - certainly given me food for thought"Those who try to make sense of the world are divided into four categories: scientists, theologians, philosophers, and fools. Correction ... make that one category with three sub-divisions" -- Carlo Kensada0 -
Because rain is supposed to soak into the ground, replenishing its moisture. If you catch it and send it down the drain you will also increase the risk of flash flooding (because there is no "sponge" to soak it up), and put more pressure on the sewage system (assuming it goes into the sewer).Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I have one of these imprinted drives.
It was laid about 3 years ago and still looks like new - I am really happy with it.
I was very sceptical at first and visited about 5 properties the contractor had done before to make sure I liked this option and also liked the workmanship.
Compared to my neighbour's drive which is block paved, theirs has sunk in places where their Grand Cherokee is parked and also has weeds growing in places.
Mine has no sinking (both driveways are on a slight slope) and no weeds.
I understand they do need the top layer re-applying every few years, I may do mine next year.
Basically, you jetwash it and then use a special chemical in a pump weed spray can to coat it and then leave to dry for a day - sounds pretty simple !
