These are what Dell offer for Wireless Networking if you want to compare prices.

This post has just appreared listing some bargain wireless hardware...maybe worth considering?

What sort of Laptop would you recommend for gaming and what sort of price do you think it would be? Just jumping in here because my 17yr old has just asked for one and he is into online gaming.

PC spec is pretty good, but my son has the 15" Dell TFT and it's a bit small to be honest. You also can't put very powerful graphics cards into a 3100 so not really suitable if your kids want to do any serious gaming.

    Hmmm .. Not convinced

    From above.. e-value: D10311
    Key specs: 3Gig HT processor / 160G HD / 512RAM / 15" Screen / dvd rom / no graphics card
Actual final value with VAT and shipping on the spec above is: £346.70

Today I bought: (from the home use section, not small business section)
    e-value: D10e05
    Key specs: 2.6Gig Dual Core Processor / 160G HD / 1024RAM / 19" Screen / dvd writer / 256mb nVidia graphics / + media card reader
Actual final value with VAT and shipping : £438

Worth the extra £92 in my opinion for a no hassel pc that needs no upgrade for a majority of users

Hi, I have just been on to the dell site and found this:

    Dimension TM3100

    £389 inc del & VAT

    Intel Pentium 4 3.00 GHZ
    Windows XP
    16 X DVDRW
    17" flat panel monitor
    1024 MB
    80 GB hard Drive

Is this a good deal, also is there any way that I can exclude the monitor as I already have one.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

Not a bad deal noff, but street's above yours is much better value for money, and much more future proof. As for the screen the 19" is fantastic, I have 1 and love it, taking it off the order will only save a few pounds, take the monitor too and Ebay it if you dont want it for a lot more than dell will give you for not taking it;)
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:
