PCN - wrong street details

Hi Guys,

dunno if anyone can offer any advice here. I want to challenge a PCN I received and I wondered if the following were good grounds for a challenge:

It's a civil PCN and they've put the wrong road on the notice. I have proof I was on a different road to the one they have on the notice!

Comments

  • Confirm you mean Civil to be a private one and not a council one please.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Sorry, no it's a council one, I thought they were under the civil legal precedents. But yes, it was issued by Coventry City Council

Well you should appeal as it did not take place, mistakes like this are fatal to the council pcn, post the same on https://www.pepipoo.com and they will confirm, include scans of your ticket removing personal info.

    Good luck
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

    take it where Taffy said.

It will be an easy win.

there is a current 'wrong street' thread running there.

Also. I would be very interested to see a current Coventry PCN. About a year ago they had about the worst versions in the whole Country. I know they;ve corrected some of it but still errors i believe. This info will help others.
