MBNA - Balance Transfer before card arrives?

Hi
Waiting for my new MBNA rate for life card to arrive, but need the cash from it for the weekend. I am told it can take 4-5 days to come from the card to the current account.
Will MBNA organise the transfer before the card arrives/is activated?
If not, in reality is 4-5 days accurate for the transfer, or is it quicker?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm fairly sure that my balance transfer happened before the card arrived but not sure whether it was within 5 days.

Thanks. I didnt request the transfer on the application, as I wasnt sure the exact date I needed the money.
If the card doesnt arrive today, I'll give them a bell and see what they can do.0 -
If you didn't request the transfer at app time you'll have to wait for the card to arrive. MBNA make you firstly activate the card and then when you request a transfer will either request this be done online (only accessible after card activation and log-in) or will ask for card-held info (e.g. expiry date and secure number - CCV). So unfortunately you'll have to wait for the card to arrive. However, I've found MBNA to be pretty quick and the card should be with you 1-2 weeks after approval.

just for anyone elses info. They were fine about sorting it over the phone before the card has arrived. They just asked a few extra security questions. All sorted and the cash should be with me in a few days.0
