rchddap1 wrote:As for packed lunches have you tried making cakes instead of buying either them or chocolate bars. Its much cheaper to make a pile of fairy cakes, or a victoria sponge than to buy one. You can also vary them depending on your tastes at the time. From lemon, to chocolate...or my favourite...coffee & walnut. Much nicer, cheaper and a great deal more fun too. Well for me anyway...especially as I tend to leave the mess for the OH to wash up.

How strange on the be-ro site it is £1.25 per Recipe book and it goes to a different address as well.

May ask where you go your info from.
As It would save me 52p as I want to send for two. One for myself and one for my mother.
Many thanks in advance.

By far the most useful small cook book I've ever had. Much used and looking rather bedraggled these days. In fact, posting about it reminded me that I wanted to renew my own copy once more. Sure. I got it from my Be-Ro Recipe Book. It's a few years old now, so might well be out of date, but they all have the address there to let you order replacements.
Anyway, I've ordered a replacement via the address I listed so I'll see if it still works...Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
