Hi all,
I plan to use Windows Media to burn various CD's onto disc to use in the car and have no idea which discs I can use.
I have a DVD-RW drive in my Dell p.c. and I've been using re-writeable CD's up to now, but want to go for a cheaper CD. I have some CD-R's, but they won't work and keep being rejected.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.
Mimi

rejected by the car's audio system or the dvd writer?
car stereos can be very picky about which disks they'll play (older systems especially so) try burning at a slow speed, maybe 4x, and see if that help/Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -

Definitely brand-new discs? You can only use CD-Rs once, mind....
Rejected in what way? Error message? Drawer spits them out?0 -
Don't believe this .. tried unsuccessfully to burn 3 times earlier with one of these discs. Just tried again so I could report back on error messages and it's worked!
Thanks anyway folks for rushing to my aid and I'll hope it keeps working.
