fridge freezer not cooling properly

thanks for the help.....i know it not working because the freezer it not keeping my food frozen when it is on the recommended setting,
i am waiting for a thermometer to be delivered so wont know the actual temp till that arrives, i have a low temperature switch which i tried but it seemed to make it even warmer rather than cooler. i have put the heater on in the kitchen will leave it a couple of hours and see if there is any change.What goes around - comes around

That might take a while as it is the inside of the fridge that needs to be heated up, albeit indirectly.
I'm not sure what the low temperature switch might be for - when you say it makes it worse do you mean it make the freezer warmer and everything thaws out more?0 -
the low temp switch is for when the fridge is in a cold place, according to the manual, but when i tried that, it seemed to make it warmer.What goes around - comes around
