Can we rent a one bed flat for a while to save - or is this overcrowding?

Thank you - yes, i have been eyeing up the ladies who do Avon and have been tempted to try it out. I don't drive so i would be pretty limited as to what i can do but i know alot of mums now so maybe that could be my forte...lol.
As for childminding, lol, mine are handful enough without all the paperwork CM's have to carry out these days, i'd be fine with the extra children, and terrible with the paperwork, lol. But if we were more stable i'd love to become a foster carer (as i grew up in the system so would love to give back to a child in need)...again, we need stable housing for this.
I'm desperate to get back to work, the reason i haven't is money. Putting 2 children into childcare, 3 children at some point is not worthwhile unfortunately. So i'm having my children close together and once they are at school i'll be able to afford the childcare
It's all planned out, lol. Which is another reason now is the perfect time for us to downsize and save like crazy and get a mortgage once we have 2 incomes again (and hopefully be able to pay a big big chunk off via deposit).

Councils often won't classify you as homeless unless you stay put until the landlord formally evicts you. Some councils even want you to wait until baliffs are appointed. If you move any sooner then you risk the council classifying you as intentionally homeless and them not having an obligation to help.
Sounds unfair on you and the landlord, but that is the game councils often play to avoid being responsible for housing you.
Not quite. I think you are confusing the duty to house with the provision of temporary accommodation.0 -
