Train or plane

A group of relations are considering doing a trip to France and Spain next year.
We want to compare the price of plane v train.
What is a good site for train prices and times of journey etc.
Initially we are thinking of London, Paris, Toulouse, Barcelona, Madrid, Seville Malaga, with a few days in each. Then a flight back to UK.
Of course that might change.
But I'm trying to get a cost comparison between Plane and train.

It's your money. Except if it's the governments.

The problem you may have is getting fares far enought in the future to compare. A lot of european train operators only publish some fares 90 days in advance. That said seat61 is the place to check.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

You could do flights London-Toulouse-Madrid-Malaga then train to Seville then flight to Barcelona-Paris then train to London.
easyjet and Ryanair have many flights in europe and https://www.Vueling.com also has many to/from Spain.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Possibly, but why chop and change direction like that? It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -
Just a possible route.
All depends how many sectors you want to do by plane or train and which would be best value for money.
Some train journeys such as Toulouse to Barcelona and between Seville and Malaga may not be that easy.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Have you considered an Interrail ticket for the train parts of your journey? It might work out cheaper than flights in the long run, + you miss out on airport queuing and travelling times (train stations tend to be in the center; airports don't). You could possibly fly out from London to your first destination and rail it for the rest of the trip, flying back from your last 'place'?0

Don't know about Toulouse-Barcelona but Malaga-Seville is very easy and a pretty journey through mountainsJ
