Canon 60D

Options
Ok so i wanna create 'urban' music videos based in and around the UK, and a friend of mine has recommended i buy a Canon 60D, the only thing is i'm pretty much broke. I am planning to take a loan out and hopefully go from there, or maybe pay by credit? I currently have no job (i'm in college) but i am planning to make money doing the videos and hopefully starting a small business movement up with a few others, Creating music, albums, videos etc. could anyone recommend the best way of saving money to purchase such a thing?

TBH, If you haven't a lot of cash to spare, I'd recommend going for an older Sony or Panasonic bridge/compact, as a DSLR will cost you in buying kit.
If you're looking for video, then a DSLR is a slight step in the wrong direction- try looking for an older MR-1, Canon's first video outfit. Can't remember off the top of my head whether it relied on tape or digital though, but Canon do have a range specifically for video.
Sony would be cheapest possibly as a starter, as the quality is quite good (albeit a bit pink).
