Voluntary Redundacy

I am considering taking Voluntary Redundancy early next year and I am expected to take my pro-rata'd annual leave before my exit date.
Also, during the last 4 years I have accumulated (banked) 3 days per year, so have a total of 12 days in addition.
Obviously I would prefer to be paid for the 12 rather than take the time off before I leave the company!

Can anyone give me advice ?

  • Oops should have read this forum first instead of searching the Internet. Question answered if they offer suitable alternative employment then I cannot opt for redundancy.

If you don't know the policy on carry over you will have to ask.

They can have you take these if they want

As this is VR you decide if the deal on the table is good enough if not negotiate or don't take it, what's the alternative going to be.
