Is my buyer taking ages or is it just me being impatient?

Just wondered what peope thought.
Accepted an offer on my house at the start of October, about 10% under asking price as the buyer was an investor, no chain etc, so could move fast.
We were going to exchange and complete on the 29th Oct, but his BS asked for a structural survey, which stopped that date happening.
Got the results for that on the 3rd Nov, and we agreed another reduction due to the work that the report threw up, but I did say I would only reduce if we could complete quickly.
All searches etc had been done at that point, and my sols had everything ready to go then too., from my point of view we could complete within about 2 days, although obviously he couldn't due to the report needing sending to the lender.
Since the 11th this month all we are getting told is that the buyers solicitors are just waiting for the mortgage deed, everything is in place, but its just that outstanding.
Would I be unreasonable to start pushing a bit harder now? The lender could have the deed to the solicitors in 24 hours (in fact the buyer told the EA that the solicitors had it last week, but the sols deny this).
I don't want to push him too hard in case he drops out, but on the other hand, I fail to see why things are taking this long, and a condition of the reduction was that it was completed quickly, within a couple of weeks was what i said at the time.
What would others do?

8 weeks for a house sale isn't that long, but as you agreed to a price reduction for a quick completion, and the buyer appears to be lying to your EA about the mortage deed being with the his solicitor, it may be time to issue an ultimatum to the buyer."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

So he has failed to meet the reduction deadline put the price back up.0

Unfortunately I think you will just have to wait for him

We are in pretty much the same position, having accepted a low offer (86% of asking) at the start of October from a no-chain buyer as this should have enabled us to complete in time for Christmas.
We are still waiting for exchange, and the buyer has now said that she doesn't want to complete until January :mad:0 -
Ring and tell the EA that the price has gone back up as the quick completion has not happened - bet the deeds miraculously appear, but if they don't start re-marketing the property to show that you will not be pushed around.
OR if you want this buyer then you will have to wait for them.
Really depends on how much you need this buyer.0
