Dell hard drive failure

I'm having problems at the moment i leave my pc over night and in the morning i get a black screen with hard drive failure i have 2 hard drives in the machine and what seems to be happening is its trying to start off the other hard drive when i press f2 on start up and enter hard drive set up the second hard drive swaps places with the main hard drive at the top! When i swap them back its starts again very strange?
