Building Surveyors

I had a survey done on a property just last Friday - couldn't believe the speed they turned the survey round on. They told me I would have the survey Friday night electronically and I did! And they were substantially cheaper than an alternative I tried. AND I got pics with my survey. I was & am most impressed! :j (I'm in Essex)
Am I allowed to praise this Company by name? If not, and somebody needs to know, then I guess just pm me :T
And the bad news it they picked up something I hadn't noticed when I viewed the property, but hey, I love the house so will deal with it

I used one 2 yrs ago - waste of £660 ... all they did was make sure they covered their backsides on every front with vague wording. No skin off their nose if you don't buy the place. They did miss the exposed drains under the decking and the rat infestation - a chimney I was was worried about was covered with "keep an eye on it over the next few years" - very helpful!0

Well, I had a surveyor booked for £470 (inc VAT) and he !!!!!footed about & never got back to me excatly when he was doing survey, so I paniced - found this other guy who charged me £275 (fully inclusive) he was there for agesa nd he had promised me survey Friday night as It was desperately urgent and he kept his promise. I was/am soooo impressed. Also, I found his far superior in stating - no movement, no this, no that, but problems are this & this & this....which I thought anyway - house that needs FULL renovation.........but will be cracking when its done - exchanging in 3 weeks.........(only agreed price with vendor this week gone) hence the panic0
