i had a nose rebore about 7 yrs ago, and its made a great differents
i only get sore thorats about once a year, and i can't remmember the last time i took catarrah pastilles, or dodos or any other of the normal things to get rid of catarrah
i can't remember the real name of the operation i had, i always call it a rebore
i was in hospital 2 1/2 days then had 3 weeks off work to allow the wound to heal
got to say i have improved 1000000%, it really did help me
I had flu as a kid and ever since then I've sniffed.
Really struggling from it at the moment despite taking Sudafed. Even eating a meal is triggering it off!
Where can I find cattarh pastiles?0 -
ewwww you dirty tramp :rotfl:
have you checked if maybe it could be an allergy? Maybe to your bedding or something? if you are breathing in something you are allergic to then it might cause mucus to build up to protect your throat
You can get anti-allergy quilts and pillows and stuff.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
Well we've suspected I'm allergic to maybe animal fur or something!
When I had hamsters I had a chest thing going on and when we didn't have any it cleared up. And now there is the dog. Not sure if the 2 could be linked!0 -

Well allergies do make you feel congested, I can tell you that as a hay fever sufferer.
When you went on that stag weekend (if you can remember) in between the booze, was you congested then? being away from the dog?

I can't remember but I never suffer as bad on holiday! :think:0 -
Maybe it is the dog then?
You could try some anti allergy tablets like claritin (I think that one can be used for animal hair) and see if that helps a little.
if it is relived when you are away from the dog, then I would lean towards it being an allergy hun.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
You can buy a steam thing from Boots which is just a container for the water and olbus oil or methol crysals with a thing on the top that you pop your nose into.
I suffer badly sometimes from sinus problems and when on holiday found the air con really irritated it. I used to pop down to the coffee machine and get a cup of hot water and just steam with that which helped.0
