Asda beef roasting joints £4 per kg and co-op have Elmwood Turkeys half price 5kg-6.5kg £12 some very small £5 and larger ones at £16.
  • I got one of the Sainsbury's beef joints (Topside) at £4.49 kg today. An enormous joint for £9.25 - I cut it into two good sized joints and froze the two halves. Looked lovely lean meat.

We've ordered a meat hamper from our butcher :

    10lb Farm Turkey
    3lb Gammon joint
    3lb Pork joint
    3lb Silverside joint
    1lb Best bacon
    1lb Best sausages
    1lb Pork pie

And a Bottle of Red/White or Rose wine

    All for £45.00

If your Butcher delivers that lot I'm all for trying anything other than a supermarket pack ;-)
