I don't think the whole pack is suitable for vegetarians...does anyone know if any of the cheeses in it are because it could still be a good deal...

Got this today thanks, didnt see your post about the Brie until now so will have to look out for that too. Date on the cheese was best before 27th Dec, but it will last longer than that so I'm not worried. Can freeze too.

Have I got it wrong...over £6 a kg for cheese. Lidl do soft type Edam/Emmental and hard cheese for £3.50.

More than £12.20 per kilo for bog standard edam, cheddar, stilton, brie and wensleydale. What a bargain. I make that a reduction of eight to fifteen percent - hardly half-price. Nice to see the weekly email abetting deceptive price offers.

This was advertised in my clubcard voucher book that I got in the post this morning.

It looks like a good offer to me and wish I'd have seen it yesterday before I spent some of my £6.00 co-op divvy on cheese.

I see no point to your entire post.

Which of the cheeses in the selection box are worth £12 a kilo? Which are worth more? (There must be some if the average worth is £12.25). If you disagree with my valuation then question me on that. If you have no evidence to deny that this consumer site is abetting deceptive pricing then say nothing yourself.
  • I for one am grateful to the OP for posting this, I am very pleased with my slab of Stilton for £3.

No-one is complaining about the (solitary) Stilton. Do keep up.
