    Hello everybody!

Fell off the wagon last week, or rather completely forgot to get on at all! Don't think my spends got too out of control, but not going to work it out either!

Pointy, can I pledge £25 for this week please? Don't have anything planned that should cost too much, and most thing budgeted for, so just need to stay away from the shops!

Welcome back Eric (and others), but I'm intrigued - why does friend 1 get almost twice as much budgeted for as friend 2? Pricey choice of pub? Or more likely to be there till the bell rings? ;)

I am so pleased to be back :j. Managed a no spend day today so pleased as punch :D, if only I could repeat that 31 days over :rotfl:

in answer to your question, I typically go to the pub with a work colleague every week for lunch, typically on a Friday, to round off the week :j, One week she pays, the next I pay. Its my turn to pay this week and as it is the JD W pub that we go to :D, we can both have a nice lunch and a drink for about the £10 mark hence the £12 budgeted. re my lunch with friend 2, we are both paying for our respective meals so I have budgeted £7
  • Evening all

A bit more snow but not enough for me to be stuck so I had to go to work:(

First post is all up to date. Welcome to one and all. If there are any lurkers out there come out and join us we are a friendly bunch I promise:D

Spends today were £1 on bonusball at work (I run it we have been going for 2.5 years and I have never won:mad:). I also bought some food but that comes from the grocery budget so not counting it here. It seems snow brings out the best in my spending as I never want to go outdoors:j

  • so far so good this week - all NSD's!!! :j

    Hope everyone's safe & warm...
I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions...
  • So far so good, NSDs every day. Got £40 for working on Monday so I put half of that into petrol to get me home, and the other half is being used for a friends birthday outing on Sunday.
  • D'oh! I'm red already this week with a spend of £114.97! To be fair, what pushed me over my pledge was my sensible head, which told me to be safe rather than sorry, and so I bought some 'snow-sentials'. Although I haven't used them yet, I'm happy I've got them just in case!

Anyway, I'm hoping to limit the damage this week by not spending on anything else, and those little bits n pieces that I have got my eye on will have to wait until next week!

Hope everyone is having a good week. Take care and wrap up warm!
