Public Liability help needed !!

Hi all,

I play in a duo (drums and double bass)......it is a casual thing I do with a friend not a proper registered business or anything....we are playing at a wedding in December, but the venue say we need a public liability insurance of £2 million to be allowed to perform there.

If anyone has some tips about how we could get this and who from- we would only need cover for that 1 day- though if a cheap quote for a years cover could be obtained then I guess we might has well have it incase we play any other future events which may also request such insurance.

The last time I used them for a quote it worked out cheaper to add cover on for the instruments, so it's worth asking about this.
