Hi We have no hot water
the hot tap not letting any water out
Cold tap is fine.
We live in a flat block with 3 other flats and their hot water is fine its just ours ?
was ok last night when had a bath ..didnt need this morning checked at about dinner and nothing ...went out for dinner thinking it may just be leaking somewhere and workmen doing work ..Came home tried again nothing ! ..went and asked neighbours and theirs was fine .
My dad seems to think our pipes may be frozen ? but why not the neighbours too ??

Read the other thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2890880 from today on the same subject and see if that helps you. Need more detail of your system and how it is arranged/piped. Are you on the top floor with pipes in your roofspace?

We are on bottom floor ....have someone living above . He is not home on sundays till quite late on so havent been able to ask him if his is working .
Next door on bottom floor.. hers is working fine and the bloke who lives above her is fine too ...

Condensate pipe frozen on your condensing boiler? If so a nice pan of hot water should do the trick. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Still have zero idea about your system. Do you have a gas boiler? What type/make/model is it? Hows your pipework laid out?
Do you have a mains cold fed electric shower? If you do there is a source of hot water for you until your emergency number does actually deign to speak to you.
Alternatively theres always one of these:
pro tem.

Its a combi boiler ..heating working fine no idea how the pipework is laid out sorry
our shower is run from taps so no showers for kids tonight lol
the boiler is a vaillant make ..if that helps ? lol0 -
So find the mains cold water inlet to the boiler for the DHW and trace it to try and locate where it might have got frozen - then warm it gently.
You may have a frozen condensate drain as macman has observed but then the CH won't be working either.

Can you confirm that there is no flow at all from the hot tap (not just a cold flow when it should be hot)?
I was thinking diverter valve problem, but if so you will still get a cold flow.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Did you top up the boiler pressure last night?

Combi Boiler pressure only affects the central heating doesn't it?
I may be wrong - don't shoot me!0 -
Following on from above post (9), look under the boiler for two grey taps. Both should be flat towards you and read closed. If the right hand one isn't then that is why there is no water out of the hot taps. (assumes you have an ecotec plus combi)0
