Buyer has broken item - help!

Thanks for your reponses. I contacted the buyer and told them I was not at all happy to refund now considering the item was now broken and had been used (yes I even mentioned the offending hair!) To my surprise the buyer agreed to take the item back and try to get it repaired. So I posted back by special delivery before they changed their mind.
I did say I was very unhappy it had come to this and asked if he could think of a fair solution, but he agreed to the return and that confirmed to me that their was probably something untoward going on.
I wont be selling anything electrical on ebay again!0 -
