electricity usage for electric fan

hi, i have been following the advice on here and using my electric fan to help dry my washing. (not an electric heater).
but i am wondering to how much electricity would this use.

Fans, as opposed to fan-heaters, use very little power.
I have a cheap fan about 9" diameter and it uses 31 watts. That means at normal electricity prices it will cost 1 pence to run 3 or 4 hours.0 -
thats brilliant. i have been using it as suggest on money saving old style, to use it to help dry the washing indoors, instead of using the tumble dryer.....and it works a treat.
