Spybot Showing False Result

Options
I did a Spybot scan yesterday after updating, it found this: Virtumonde.dll: [SBI $4792FFB9] Library
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mfc40.dll
According to the Spybot support forum, this is a false positive that was caused by their last update file and is nothing to worry about. http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?p=389557

I wish I had known this yesterday, I spent hours doing a boot-up scan and then flapping about when I realised that Spybot hadn't got rid of it!:rotfl:

All products can throw up a false positive some more than others .
Its simply that the scanning engines spot behaviour like a trojan/virus .
However as the Virtumonde is a known trojan its better to be safe etc etc .

Find a problem i always do a quick check of my security suite forums to see what the problem is and how to remove it .

Rather the occasional FP, than the alternative.
    Move along, nothing to see.
