Hi,
Would be very grateful if any one can help on this please.
Someone has taken a photo with their iphone and emailed it to me. When I open the email it shows in the body of the email (that is it is not an attachment).
I need to forward the photo to someone else but when I try forwarding the email the pictures don't show up in the forwarded email.
Have tried right clicking on the pic and selecting copy and save as but these options don't seem to work either. Is there a way I can copy and paste the picture into a new email or save it to my PC?
Many thx in advance.

Right click on it and choose 'Save...'. Save it to the destination of your choice and open at your leisure.0

Hi,
Thanks but as written above I've tried that. The "save as" box comes up and in that I select my file destination. It automatically comes as file type "JPEG" so I've left it as that.
It purports to save but it actually saves the pic with a file extention "aspx" and when you try to open it it brings up a load of gobbledygook, like chinese characters.
Please does anyone else know a way to do this?
Many thanks.0 -
Try changing the filename's extension from aspx to jpg and then open it.0

You could try renaming the saved image from .aspx to .jpg and see if that works.
Or with the email and image open hit the "print screen" key then paste it into Microsoft Paint, crop to size and save.0 -
Hi,
Many thanks for that suggestion - have tried renaming the file extension but it still won't open properly - just gobbledygook characters again!0 -
Which email client or software are you using?0

Worth googling on ASPX. I came up with http://www.file-extensions.org/aspx-file-extension
It seems that the file may be a composite Web form with the picture embedded. As such, you could try opening it with IE.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Right click on the file and choose 'Open with'. The select the programme you want to view it in.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
far easier just to get a facebook, photobucket etc app and upload directly to there from your iphone
then you can let folks view/download from their in future0
