What is the make and model of your machine? It may be that you need to use Hitman Pro, but we need to determine which Operating System that you are running.

Perhaps you can open Malwarebytes, go to 'Logs' and copy and paste the log of the scan that you carried out concerning Security Tool.

Have you been on this forum before?
If you have carried out scans, print the relevant logs. It saves someone having to ask.

post the malwarebytes log from your scan and wait for further advice ( there is a logs tab )

did you update malwarebytes before scanning ???

You need to post the Malwarebytes log file so we know which Security Tool it is.

If you are sure you removed the problem by making sure the box was ticked next to the malware reported after the scan then it is possible that you may have to turn off system restore and re-scan but only do that as a last resort at the moment.

    You could try Hitman Pro.........

Please open malwarebytes, goto LOGS and post the WHOLE of the last log

    reboot

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)

The tech guys generally dont have a clue

Youd be well advised in the future to not use them. Theres a fair chance your still infected too
