Bad brake repair from garage

So the load compensaters not been bled?.
Get this bled you wont have a good pedal without doing it. I had Trouble with a SWB Trooper until I bled the Load valve and it cured it..... Milners are good for parts for Jap 4x4 stuff as they often seize and die.0 -
No they did this the third time, just before they handed it over he checked the front caliper one more time. With the truck running he pressed the pedal, shouted out clamp the pipe. The chap thought he said crack the bleed nut so he did this, the more senior bloke proceeded to pump the pedal to check it with the nipple open instead of the hose clamped this pushed a little fluid out an id guess allowed a little air in. Im guesing there is air elsewhere too. Incompetant...
Basicly i dont want to go back to this garage again. i dont even like passing it lol. But i need to get this fixed asap so i can get back on the road. Am i legally entitled to take my truck to a mitsubishi garage and get them to fix the problem and rectify the dangerous work at the garages expense? And how might i go about doing this?0 -

But if you get some one to pump pedal up with engine off, open brake reservoir and get them to turn the engine on with pedal pressed the fluid should rise if the master cylinder is faulty?
Thanks again
Not aware of that one. First thing I'd do, and you can do this yourself, is to undo the master cylinder from the servo, slide it forwards as much as the slack in the brake pipes will allow and use some tissue to see if its damp at the servo end of the cylinder although again, they don't necessarily have to leak.
At the end of the day, if there are no leaks anywhere, no bulging flexi-hoses, the self adjusters are working and you've still got the same problem then the master cylinder is the only thing it could be.
Master cylinders are typically around £50 or so from motor factors.0 -
Shouldn't push the pistons back without clamping the hose and opening the nipple.
Does this help:
