JCP Christmas Opening Times [2010]

Hi, Will the JCP open during the Christmas break? If so, will it operating as normal for sign ons etc? If not, during what dates will it be closed, and reopened again?

JCP in England & Wales is only closed 27 - 29 December & 3 January.

In Scotland I think it's 27 - 28 December & 3 - 4 January.

In theory all will operate as normal - except there'll be no 'signing' between Xmas & New Year - but I expect there will be local anomalies, eg if the nearest post office (to cash giros) shuts at 4pm Xmas Eve the JCP probably will as well.

Any due payments should be processed to arrive on or before their usual day - or the last day the Banks are open if that's a Holiday day - in reality they're usually a wee bit early. BUT if you're due to 'sign on', & it's not between Xmas & New Year YOU MUST STILL SIGN.

Phone lines will operate similarly.

Hope things are all ok in the run up, my contract ends on the 17th so need to sign on on the 18th >.<
