i made an order a few weeks ago and paid thro paypal. I didnt get a confirmation email but the order came without problems. Its just the way they work.

I placed an order within 5 minutes of OP posting, havent recieved a confirmation yet paypal funds have been transferred, I am beginning to wonder if it is anything to do with ticking the box to recieve emails.....? perhaps if you choose not to recieve messages we dont even the the confirmations (only an adea as the website looks so amateur)

I ordered 4 boxes at around 11am this morning. Paid by paypal, ticked the box to say no to e-mails etc and found my confirmation e mail in my spam folder. I would imagaine that as long as the order is showing in your account it will be ok. That is.......if they honour it!! I remember a Thorntons mega glitch on a huge hamper around this time last year and they took the money from paypal, but later cancelled the order and I had to wait over a week for the money to get put back into paypal. Am hoping that this one gets through though as we are still paying them a few pounds a box rather than pence!!

well that voids my idea then, some of us cannot log into our 'account' as it says the email address is unregistered. Im not panicing, will just wait to see when everyone else starts recieving theirs.

as a side note, shouldnt this be moved off the Grabbit board as theyre now OOS?

Tesco have Bendicks mint collection 400g for £4, half price from £8, not as good as the Thorntons offer, but mint chocolate all the same!!!

According to another post, these boxes of Thorntons mints are only £3.50 in Tesco. So much for the somewhat fictitious Thorntons price of £10!
