Hi, i am thinking of insuring boiler, central heating etc againsts breakdowns.Does anyone know the best deal currently

    Best deal? Paying the amount you would pay in premiums into a savings account and then paying a plumber if it goes wrong? Recent reports have suggested these schemes are not great value for money.
    Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
