Built-In Elecric Oven Recommendations

Hi all,
After having nothing but trouble with our all-singing all-dancing gorenje oven (which is now out of warranty and broken again
), I am looking for a replacement.
Can anyone recommend:
A: a reliable brand (looking to spend no more than £300)
B: a decent retailer (can be online or high street)
As only one element has broken (the fan element, it still works as a basic oven) I am hoping to pick something up in the sales. Are there any retailers in particular that have good sales?
Cheers,
Zoe

The fan element is easy to replace, would be cheaper than a new oven.
Otherwise, if you are set on a new one, I would recommend a Bosch, but I doubt you will get one for less than £3000 -

Yes, I know it would be cheaper in the short term to replace the element, but it would be the forth element in just over three years. We have decided to put the money towards a new appliance instead.
Thankyou for your reply

I don't think those are so called "multi-function" ovens, which is what I thought the OP was looking for, but they are indeed good ovens.0

Thank you for your reply,:)
All I need is a electric fan oven with a grill, we went down the multi-function route last time with the gorenje and have decided to go the other way this time as it wasn't all it was cracked up to be.0 -
Ive just ordered a Baumatic B501.1SS after what seems like weeks researching! It will be delivered friday, so cant tell you how good it is until then, but I bought it from here..

But they did a price match down to £256.98 :T.
I went with appliances online as they seem to have much better customer services than some of the others (steer clear of Jual domestics for a start!) They also have a no quibble free return policy too, so you dont need to pay to send an item back if you change your mind. They also do have items in stock, and can give you real dates before checkout, most of the others give you a vague date 'subject to confirmation' which usually means they dont have it in stock and will back order it from the manufacturer when you order!
It is a multi function, which you are saying you may not want this time. I chose it after hours of googling!! It has a tripple glazed door, easy slide racks, (you can even buy telescopic attachments that act like smooth draw runners!) and clear controls.0 -

In that case, one of the Bosch ones suggested above would be ideal.
We bought a Bosch for our Guide Hall and the Guides have not managed to break it yet! It heats up really quickly too.
I have a very old Miele, when it goes I will be getting a Bosch. It seems to be a reliable make. In our immediate family we have 3 dishwashers, 1 washing machine, 1 tumble drier, 2 hobs, 1 oven, 3 fridges and 4 freezers.....all Bosch....and none of them have ever gone wrong.0 -
Mine is a Electrolux which I would rate at 5/10. Fan oven works well. Grill is single element which I would never ever get again...double element needed for 4 slices of toast or toasted sarnies is a must..the grids are becoming a problem now...they can if loaded say with roast spuds and a joint fall past the slide ins and fall to the oven bottom......Hope that helps.
