How to fit signal booster/splitter gizmo please.

Options
I've acquired one of these, (http://www.maxview.co.uk/products/info_PSB3C.html) - with 3 tv outputs, but no instructions. I've tried a few possible combinations but am obviously getting it completely wrong. Can anyone please tell me which bit goes where? My main telly with sky box is in the living room and I want to rig up another tv in the kitchen. I've connected a cable between living room and kitchen but just can't work out how to connect the booster/splitter thingie to the back of the tv/skybox/cable from the dish.

Has anyone got one and can help please?

Thank you.

    The only way you can connect the Sly box is to use it's RF output

    Use RF1, and you connect that to the input of your signal booster.
    The output from your signal booster goes in to the aerial socket of the second television, and you will obviously have to tune one of the channels to the same frequency that the Sly box is outputting on in order to get a picture.

    PS

    You don't need that signal booster, you can connect RF1 on the Sly box directly to the aerial socket on the second television.

    Firstly, you do NOT connect anything to the cable coming from the dise to the box to split it.You take a second feed from the RF2 on the back of the Sky box to the TV in the second location. You do not need to boost the signal from the RF2 output to the second TV as it is already powered. What you aquired is no use for the purpose of running a second feed. You aquired an aerial booster.
    All the cable needs to do is run from the RF2 to the other TV.You can then fit a magic eye at the second tv to control the Sky box from that location.

    RF1 is unpowered & no use if the OP wants to fit a magic eye nor run a COAX extension over distance.

    I know it's unpowered, the OP made no mention of using a magic eye.
    Similarly, unless the OP lives in a mansion then I reckon it's safe to assume that the distance between their living room and kitchen is of a neglible length where RF signal quality (sic) is concerned.

    The ideal way to do it would be a video sender, not much more expensive than what the OP has paid for that amp and a lot easier to install.

    Thank you thank you thank you kind knowledgeable people! I now have telly in the kitchen which is the only room in the house with heating. It's fab. No I'm not bothered with a magic eye, I had one once and it fell apart. There are only 2 rooms downstairs in this house so the tvs are close together really - anyway, am in business now. I don't mind going into the frozen waste of the living room to change channel, that's no problem. Oh yes, the splitter thing was free.

    Now I just have to work out how to make everyone on it look a tad shorter and fatter, or are they always tall and skinny!!

    Very grateful. DS

    By connecting it to RF2,you can go into the services menu on the Sky box & change the picture format to one that looks better on the second telly.On the Sky remote;
