Such fun going on here today. Pippi, snowdrifts! Hard work but I am glad that you are ok.
It is funny to hear about what you have in the freezer. Before I lived in the country I would have thought that was mad. There is a film called Sleep Furiously which is about a year in the life of the people in the valley here where I live. The director grew up here but has lived in London since he was 18. He filmed here over 12 months. One of the scenes is his mum taking an owl to a taxidermist (dead of course). She had found it in the road and frozen it until she knew what to do with it. It is a fantastic film full of laughter about the things that happen in a very rural area. I would recommend it as a good watch. But then I am biased and I probably wouldn't have "got" it before I lived here.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar.
