    I stood on one in the kitchen, quite late at night. It went just in the gap between the ball of my foot and the pads of my toes. Just as I was putting the weight down, the nerve impulses were going up my leg saying "Woah!!!".

    I lifted my foot and put the light on. It was looking up at me going "Phew - that was close..."

    Nope still think that sharing a bath with 6 of the blighters qualifies for the worst thing ever!!!!!! My phobia is well and truly earned!

    I once lived n a farmhouse where the ground floor came alive with them at night :eek: (slugs that is, not sea cucumbers : )

    I dreaded the kids needing anything at night :( :eek:

    Sorry, they are NOT cute :eek::eek::eek: (and I confess to a first degree in biology :o)

    I had one in my mouth in some lovely 'organic' freshly picked salad leaves - thankfully I didn't bite it - the texture of it was disgusting.

    That feeling will stay with me for the rest of my life.

    I wouldn't want to share a bath with them.

    Or watch them have sex either
