DVD Player....

l'm looking for a DVD Player as cheap as possible for the bedroom, does anyone know the best place to get one. With all these sales and reductions going on there must be a bargain going on DVD Players somewhere..

They usually have little ones for £15-£20 in Asda and Tesco- or try Freecycle first!

personally i would go for ebay and something a bit older from a quality brand .


cheapo Asda tat is a false economy IMO .

the sort of players below were expensive in their day , but built to last . now everyone wants a Blu Ray , you can pick up brilliant players for peanuts

below is the one i did buy for £850 and still have and use very regular .in fact i have stopped ordering all Blu Rays from Love film because this baby still kicks very serious !!! . i would not sell her for anything but silly money .

in terms of car analogies this is a Aston Martin , your cheap Asda player is a peddle bike . no a kids peddle bike !

my brand new shiny Sony Blu Ray player with HD sound is still no match for it in the audio department . yes the Blu Ray is a better picture , but this player is probably one of the best DVD pictures you could get for under £2k , and it plays CD's like a proper high end CD player . must have watched 1000's of DVD's on it and it still works like the day it came out the box .
