I've had no major problems with TalkTalk. The one time my landline failed I had to report the fault from my neighbour's phone. TalkTalk transferred my calls to my mobile at no cost and they refunded the cost of calling them from my neighbour's phone.
Seems fine to me. On my plan I can call my daughter in Paris for free. I can call my friend who is also on TalkTalk for free. My 12 month contract expires soon. I never renew on an 18 month contract. So far I have been offered a pathetic £5 discount to renew for 12 months. As a longstanding client I will wait for a better offer, otherwise I will stay with TalkTalk without agreeing to another contract and research an alternative.
