Hi, looking into buying VS2010. Not sure which version to get. The prof edition appears to start at about £100 going all the way upto £700 for the +MSDN edition.
Doing GUI +C++/C# and dbase int work. Is the bog std "prof ed" good enough? Cheers.

Visual Studio Express is free, it just requires you to register it. Microsoft allows you to download the Professional version and use it for free for 30 days. You can extend that to 90 days by registering it. The higher versions seem to be the same.
