Halifax rewards current account registration difficulty

Hi guys
Im have spent the last 20 mins trying to switch my current account to a Halifax rewards account, partly for the nice rewards, partly because of the option to apply for a reward cash back credit card of £5 per £300 spent and partly because of the nice £50 bonus for switching via the MSE website.
However when i got to the submit details page I was given an error message that this appliction in no longer poissible.
Is it possible that the discount for MSE website users has ended? Anyone heard anything about this?
Im waiting for Halifax customer services to call me back, i really really want this account and hopefully its due to IT problems or the fact its the weekend. Ill post an update when i get news.

I thought the £50 incentive was through moneysupermarket.com, and I think if you do it in branch they'll give it to you aswell.Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0

Thanks Jen,
I cut out the middle man and followed the link from moneysupermarket.com site and not using the link from MSE (which I presume goes via moneysupermarket) and was succsefull with the application.
If I had tried again from MSE it might have worked but I guess I will never know.0 -
